There’s been a lot of buzz lately about parking. Fueled in part by Donald Shoup’s acclaimed The High Cost of Free Parking, many people have been taking a look at how ridiculous the parking situation actually is in the United States. This infographic from MyParkingSign.com could very well be a folded insert that would accompany the book perfectly. It addresses the absurdity of minimum parking requirements, how much money is actually put into it, and shocking statistics like the fact that the US has an estimated 3-8 parking spaces for each car.
