Patrick HewittPatrick Hewitt, MCRP, is an urban planner with Mullin & Lonergan, Associates, Inc., a private planning firm focusing on housing and community development. Patrick works from his home in Columbus, Ohio and from the M&L Office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Originally from Warren, Ohio, a rust belt city in Northeast Ohio, Patrick received his Masters of City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University with a special focus on issues of urban design, transit, and community development. While at Ohio State, he worked for Franklin County’s Economic Development and Planning Department, working with a team to author various neighborhood plans. Patrick acted as lead planner for the Clinton West Neighborhood Plan.

Before beginning his Masters at the Ohio State University, Patrick received a bachelor’s degree in History from Denison University, a liberal arts college in Granville, Ohio. He studied abroad in Denmark and the United Kingdom. Outside of the classroom, Patrick served as the President of the University Programming Council, a senator in the Denison Campus Governance Association, and was awarded the Distinguished Leadership Award.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys exploring cities, making 3D models, and researching the history of Ohio’s cities. He is also an avid traveler both domestically and internationally.
